Hair and Makeup for Your Boudoir Session

I love makeup. I always have. I haven’t always been good at it, though!

Some women don’t wear it and don’t know how to do it, and that is just fine. You are gorgeous without it!

When it comes to boudoir, though, there is a big difference between your every day slay, and your boudoir glam. Camera’s are so high resolution, they tend to pick up every detail of your face (every beautiful imperfection on your skin), so having great makeup with excellent coverage is important. I loooove how makeup really just accentuates your beauty. For example, the photo above - she is beautiful before, naturally. But the after, her eyes pop, her cheek bones are shimmering and lifted, her lips stand out. Every perfect feature of her face is highlighted while the imperfections are covered.

That being said, hair and makeup can really make or break your boudoir session. This is why hair and makeup is always included as part of the session fee. I hire talented hair and makeup artists with many years of experience who have been specially trained in hair and makeup in the photography world.

YES, HAIR AND MAKEUP IS INCLUDED, BUT WHY?

Honestly, its because I want the experience to be full and absolutely all about you. Including it is my way of making sure you get the luxurious experience of being pampered for a few hours.

Hair and makeup also is a great time for you to calm your nerves before your session begins, for us to chat, and listen to some music. By the time your session starts, we have gotten to know each other a bit better, and you will be feeling on top of the world ready to rock your session!

YOU DON’T HAVE TO KNOW HOW YOU WANT YOUR MAKEUP, OR YOUR HAIR.

The hair and makeup artists I hire are very knowledgeable and helpful. They tend to know what looks best on camera, and what is best for boudoir. If you don’t know what you want, they will give you a beautiful glam look with softly curled hair.

Put your trust in the hair and makeup artists I trust to give you the best experience possible. I promise the results and the experience is soooo worth it!
